New York Times sets new journalistic standard: inaccurate/flat-out false, but notionally accurate

There you go – according to the New York Times, the new journalistic standard is that you can be inaccurate and flat-out false, use an associates’ words against someone, and include some ‘notionally accurate’ information (i.e. not existing in reality), and its publishable.

What a fucking idiot.  Look, you can do whatever you want, just don’t call yourself a journalist.
